Monica Stålvang

As you might know, I am half Norwegian and that's why I spend a lot of time visiting my family up north.  Norway is such a beautiful, but also very cold and snowy country, so you need to be aware of what kind of shoes you are going to wear.

A few days ago I met a really special person: Monica Stålvang. She has the answers to our shoe problems in winter. Her shoes have a rough sole at the front and a statement heel at the back, so you don't need to worry about slipping and falling. Nevertheless, they look very elegant and high fashion!  I fell in love with her shoes when I first saw them at "Designerkolektivitet" in Glassmagsin, Oslo.  They looked so different from all the other shoes that are out on the market these days!  There was so much thinking behind this! So why not meet the special person behind these amazing designs?? The next day I went to Monica Stålvang's shop in Stensgate.

For Monica it is important to create a good quality, a long lasting look (so that you can wear the shoes for more than a year) and a comfortable feeling!! The quality of her leather is incredible because she chooses the material from leather sellers in Italy.  Nor does she only uses this high qualified leather on the outside of her shoe but also on the inside! Additionally I love how she mixes two materials for one pair of shoes or how her shoes look totally different even though they have the same design. So when you fall in love with a design it is possible that you fall in love with not only one pair of shoes but three!!

Her shoes are also very comfortable, which I experienced because I walked miles through Oslo.
You can always get a cheap sweater or t-shirt but with shoes it is totally different. You spend your days in them and you trust them to get you through the day.
As a consequence why not pay attention to what your poor feet are going to suffer through!

Pointer

This week I'm writing to you from Norway! I really love it here. The nature is beautiful and the air is cold and fresh. The sun was shining powerfully and I took a hike with my father. So this time it was him who took my pictures. Didn't he do quite a good job :)?
I love the fall colors that surrounded us that day and especially my uncles Pointer Alba, who is such a beauty. Alba is a real DOGMODEL!!

I'm so happy to be enjoying the beauty of Norway's nature. It frees my mind :)

The things we do for FASHION!

This Saturday I was very lucky as I could model for two amazing designers!
It was so much fun! I was part of an awesome team and made some talented new friends!

Maria Encke, makes art out of fabric. I had the chance to wear the Bridesmaid-Dress which you can see in the pictures below.
Nang Nguyen is a young designer who makes very beautiful clothes. They look very elegant and remind me of older clothes mixed with some new fashionable ideas. I had the chance to wear the beige dress you can see below.
Monica Wegenast is an awesome stylist who did our amazing makeup on this day! I love the way we look!
Lyonel Stief, our organizer and a super talented photographer.

Feel free to take a look at their personal pages!
I hope you enjoy the clothes as much as I did and get ready for something extraordinary! ;D

Punk!

Lately I was very upset because there arent so many things that I like in this new Fall/Winter collections, at H&M there is just so much black and at Zara they really just have straight cuts...
But at Mango they have beyond amazing things!! They totally hit my style this time! I am so obsessed with it's collection I could buy the entire store!!
Sadly I don't have enough money for that...

Love this punkish style and hope you like it too,

Another Day of my Life

Well here is an outfit that I love to wear in my everyday life!
I love to mix a girly attitude with a rocky-edge touch.

This week I went shopping for Fall/Wintercollection 2013 and I guess that in the following weeks there won't be any possibility to wear summer outfits anymore.

So Goodbye Summer and hello Fall!

Can't wait to show you my new items,

Grown-Up

I'm in a very kind of weird mood at the moment I make some huge changes in my life and I kind of finally know how to get the best out of me but it takes a lot of time and a lot of thinking so I spend a lot of my time in my head.
I guess you can kind of see it in my facial expression.
Some friends told me that in the last posts I look much older but in a good way and it really is the same feeling that I have about me and my life right now.
Well I need to admit that I have always been that kind of person that shows everything with its face.
I wouldn't even need to talk from time to time :-P

Girly Girl

I am very sorry to have kept you waiting for so long but university started again and I just haven't had time to post! Today it's raining and it feels like summer is slowly leaving Germany....
So I guess this will be one of the last "all about summer" outfits that I am going to show you.
I loved floral print that summer and especially the colors blue and green.

Casual Shopping

Here is what I wore in Karlsruhe while shopping and getting totally soaked 'cause of the crazy weather that was going on over there!
Although I must say that I spent some really nice days there.
On that day I really was tired from all the walking and I sadly think that you can see that in my face *haha* but well I did a little mix and match for the outfit and could not wait to show you my new bracelet I'm just so in love with it!

Soft tones

Here are some more pictures of my vacation in France.
On this day we were visiting a beautiful small town called Narbonne! It really has such a cute touch with its narrow streets and its small boutiques and cafés.

Sadly I couldn't wear heels that day. They would have made my outfit look much better but I had so many blisters...
At the end I decided to go for this nice pair of Tahari shoes that I bought in Los Angeles.

Enjoy,

Beachy Feeling

I'm such a beach lover, I need to be at the beach at least one time a year!

I love the sound of the water when it hits the cliffs!
I love the feeling of the waves against my body.
I love the sand between my toes.
I love how it makes me feel free!

For all this freedom feeling I chose to wear a loose shirt and a high waist shorts.

J'adore la France!

Here I am again with a new post. I was hoping to be able to post from France but sadly I never got the possibility to do it due to internet problems :(
So here is one of my favorite outfits that I shopped in the beautiful small town called Narbonne.
I really enjoyed going through tiny French shops and looking through the different items which are always much more feminine.
I discovered a new fashion brand named Karl Marc John which has nice quality clothes and affordable prices.
So, if you're in France you should totally try to find them.

I really enjoyed my time off from university and all the stress that comes along with it but I already missed the possibility to be able to upload a new post.

I hope you guys enjoy your summer as much as I did 'cause in Europe you never know if there is still summer the next week. When I came back to Germany yesterday it was already raining cats and dogs...

Hope the sun will be out again!

Talk to you soon,

We go hard!

Today I'm writing to you from the South of France!
It's nice and warm outside and I can see the sea while I'm writing this post.... just so amazing <3!
Last week was full of learning for an exam that I had on Friday and already know that I did perfectly :D I am so happy! I finally have some free time ;)

I shot some pictures with Max last Friday so you are going to see them first ;)!

Have a great week!

P.S. : I sadly have no possibility to go online from my phone, so all of you who are following me on Instagram I won't be able to post from there :(

What a dead city!

Here is another post from my time in the US!
While I was there, I fell in love with this dress from "bebe" and it really was a good buy because I already wore it a few times to go out at night.
The heels I was wearing are from Anne Klein and were actually pretty comfortable!
(Sadly I think shoes just have to be expensive to be comfortable...)

I left these pictures in Black and White for the "dead-city-feeling" me and my friend Abby had during this shoot.
I guess it was just to hot for other people in this tourist town called Oatman (it is one of my favorite spots to visit while I'm in Arizona).

So as I am a desert admiring girl I must admit the heat doesn't matter to me, actually I love it when the heat burns on my skin...
here in Europe you can never get that feeling because of the high humidity....

I already look forward to visit the desert again!

Dress the way you feel!

I like to play with fashion and always dress the way I feel.
This day wasn't really my kind of day. My hair wasn't looking good and I wasn't very comfortable in my body as I haven't been doing sports for a while...
So I decided to go for a loose look. My jeans is more like a boyfriend cut jeans and super comfy... just Diesel Quality (Diesel really is the only jeans brand I know that stays the way you buy it for like forever!)
As I was pretty tired too I didn't really want to wear beautiful make up so I just added a little rock touch by blending my eyes in black.
But still I love how it turned out!

Arizona Girl

Would you believe me if I told you that my favorite t-shirt costed 8 $? No?
But well... Yes it did! I love this t-shirt and I think I found it at K-Mart or something ;)
It really has a rocky, girly, grunge look and you can combine it to everything!!!
I also love the contrast of the black t-shirt and my blond hair and white skin.
Sometimes you can put on T-shirt and it looks better then any fancy top! It just has to be a perfect one, like this one!
And again I'm wearing Hollister shorts ;)
They are just amazing!

I'm already looking forward to spend some more time on the blog :)!

Prom Night

In Wiesbaden Proms are a very important thing. At the end of your graduation you celebrate your prom very formally and classy in the so called "Kurhaus". (you can see it behind me)

The "Kurhaus" was the vacation house of German Emperor Wilhelm II.
He enjoyed a lot of his summer stays there and even called the Kurhaus the most beautiful Kurhaus on earth.
I'm very glad that I was raised in Wiesbaden as it is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany.

In consequence to keep this traditions alife we Wiesbadeners still celebrate a lot of formal events as Balls, classical concerts and graduations inside of it.

So jump into a wonderful feeling of living in the 20th century with me ;-)

One Outfit for a whole Day!

As I had a really busy day yesterday I had to find an outfit where I won't have to change clothes for one whole day.
First I had stuff to do at university afterwards I went eating with some girlfriends and at the end of the day I went clubbing with some friends.
During all those things I knew that I wouldn't have any time to change my clothes neither to sit down and rest a while.
So I needed a comfy, nice looking and also Clubsuitable outfit!

Those high heel sneakers where the best shoes I could imagine for a day like that as they are really really comfortable and also make you look taller and thinner (I know high heels always do that but not super comfortable sneakers;-))
I chose a more loose top so that I can eat a lot and still no one sees my tummy afterwards ;)
The Jacket added a little funky touch to my outfit and kept me from getting cold at night.
At the end I combined it with some African jewelry my boyfriends sister brought me along and a handmade ring.
I really love these elephant earrings as elephants and Giraffes are my favorite animals.
The elephant earrings are really special to me 'cause they are one of my favorite jewelry pieces.

xx

Fashion Forest

I always thought I was a lucky girl, living in an apartment where the sun stays the
whole day though right at this moment I'm really cooking inside of here ;)!
But well, this finally means I can get my summer clothes out of the closet :D!

Consequently we went to the forest to take some pictures. It's a lot cooler there
and I think it really fits this dress!

As I always love to add a little color to my outfits I chose these Aigner
Ballerina's. Additionally they added a little 20's touch to it and match
my lipstick from Mac perfectly :-D

I hope you guys can enjoy your hot days a little more than me, cooking inside of an
apartment and learning all day long ;)

Enjoy,

Let's party!

I wore this outfit to a party last week where I didn't want to be over or underdressed.
I chose to wear a more rocky look.
So I thought that this little kitty catty on my shirt would do it  perfectly ;-)

The top is rocky and sexy and it doesn't look too slutty!
(what often happens when you get to much into the rock-sexy scene... )

My shorts are from Hollister again!
(They just have the best cut  as I told you in my last post! You can check it out here)

In addition I often need some color in my outfits, especially during summer so I
put on a jacket in a really cool, ultramarine blue which I found at H&M.

Last but not least my favorite item of the outfit:
Steve Madden Shoe's!
Some posts ago I told you how I fell in love with Steve Madden's designs in Los Angeles.
So as a consequence I bought a bag (the blue one featured in my post Yellow in LA) and
this pair of shoes!
When I return to the US I will totally buy some more of his amazingly designed shoes and bags!

See you soon,

First Ray of Sunlight

Finally summer has arrived!

It's nice and warm outside and you can finally start to wear lighter clothes!!
This photoshoot was during one of the first hot days so I still wore long jeans. I love the light color for summer!
In addition I must admit that those Hollister Jeans just always have an amazing cut!
They always make your booty look good ;)!

The jacket I'm wearing is from my trip to the US and it's one of my favorite items that I bought over there!
It's so hard to find a perfect Jeans-Jacket but this one really made me fall in love!
I like how it adds a little rocky touch to my casual classy outfits!

Lost in the desert!

I always loved the desert. It's my place to be. It's my refugee. It's calm. It's hot. And it has this amazingly deep blue sky!

Summer in my dress

I went down to the city on wednesday and actually I didn't want to buy anything...
I just wanted to get a little bit of inspiration but well...
Things don't ever go the way you want them to!
Consequently I saw this amazing dress at H&M for just 7€!!!

The Black Bee

Today I'm going to share a new post with you guys.
I bought this top in Norway 'cause it was highly reduced and somehow I couldn't understand why!
I really liked it at first sight. So I bought it right away.
I thought it would be really nice to match with a colorful pair of pants... but well it wasn't...
Consequently I had to try on many many things until I finally found something nice going together with this crazy designed top!

The last few days it's been just raining cats and dogs.
I always waited and waited for a day to be better and maybe a little tiny bit sunny again to post some of the more colorful things I bought but well the weather just isn't my best friend at the moment...
So I'm still likely to wear black and white very often.
It just goes along so well with this gray backround...

I really hope that in the next few weeks summer will finally make its turn and come over to Germany!

Really missing the desert and the sun!
